Description
Let's pay tribute to the Savoie region, which is the birthplace of the Saint-Genix! It was in Saint-Genis-sur-Guiers that around 1880 this delicious round brioche filled with pink pralines was created. Over time, and in keeping with local traditions, the recipe has evolved, and the Dauphinoise version has added a sweet orange blossom flavour to the basic recipe.
A feast for the eyes with its bright pink colour and a delight for the taste buds, the Saint Genix reveals a beautiful harmony between the softness of the brioche pastry, the sunny scent of orange blossom and the crunchiness of the almond pralines roasted in Valence in the Drôme Department.
